Pregnancy Klutz

What is it about being pregnant that makes women into total klutz? Is our motor skills running low because we're making a baby??

Ive had countless encounters with near miss accidents since being pregnant, things that would of never occurred if I wasn't pregnant.

For example today, I'm doing the dishes as usual and I spill and entire bowl of water on myself and on the floor. Next I'm trying to pour some cereal in my bowl, then i spill half the bowl of cereal on the table and on the floor.

Lets not mention the near miss swipe of my civic when I decided to dodge the van on my right side and ended up swiping his rear end and my entire right side.

Ugh.

Happy Halloween Everyone!

On your marks, ready, set, GO!

Here I am coming into my 20th week of being pregnant. Its the half way point folks!!

I have to say this week has been one of the sorer weeks. I was home Monday - Wednesday, cramping Thursday and well Friday.. I couldn't wait for the day to pass. Luckily I got to go home early from work cause they were cutting cement right beside the HVAC system and basically it smelled like being in a locked garage with the car running. That is no place for a pregnant woman to be LOL! I booked it out of there fast.

I've been asking the other 3 girls at work who are preggos if they experiencing the same cramping and my suspicions are correct, it must be the uterus expanding. GREAT.

The nightmares and bad dreams have been occurring daily and it hasn't been fun. Last week was a pretty bad one, the one and only time I didn't wake up screaming that my house wasn't being robbed or I wasn't being kidnapped. good lord.

My appetite is still little to non-existant. I have no cravings and if it was up to me, I wouldn't eat period. Eating makes me feel gross and the only point I am eating is because of the baby. blah.

I made some lentils last night because I refuse to eat meat. I loved my steaks rare and my prime rib bloody but during this whole pregnancy, the thought of an animal cooking just makes me hurl. Lets not mention dairy or eggs. errrrrrr.

Anyways I'll leave with a picture of Robert wearing Furfur's hand me down Halloween sweater ;-)

I have RETURNED!!!

Well! Lots of things have happened since my last blog on Feb 22.

First off, during the month of June I thought I was losing my mind. I honestly thought I was going mentally insane. It was to the point where I thought I was being undiagnosed with diabetes.

Turns out...

I'M PREGNANT :o
(and I got a dog!!)

I'm going on my 19 weeks now and things have been hectic. Between all of June, July, August and September, I thought I lived the WORST months of my ENTIRE LIFE. Between not eating, feeling sea sick 24/7, going through hormonal changes, feeling weak, exhausted, fatigued, then working on top of that, then moving to another place, I literally thought I was going to die.

Found out that my mom went through the same rough times as I did when she was pregnant with me. I don't have any cravings and I barely have an appetite but I am sustaining with eating whatever is in front of me. Now I only work 4 days a week with a doctors note cause its just exhausting.

And the dog, we got Robert during Easter weekend when I was going through one of my PMS tyrants. One look at him and I said we had to get him, he was unsold at the random pet store for 4 months. Not the cutest dog but he does have personality. He named him Robert, a no-nonsense name for a no-nonsense dog. He's half chihuahua half shih-tzu but he just doesn't look like anything really, just a wiry brown haired year old puppy. LOL!

Anyways, I will make more of an effort to keep up with this blog as the hubby would like me to keep track of my pregnancy some how.
